Starfield fora do GOTY 2023.
Os tão aguardados nomeados para os The Game Awards 2023 foram finalmente revelados, e entre as surpresas e escolhas óbvias, destaca-se a ausência de Starfield na categoria de Jogo do Ano. Na mesma categoria, destacam-se dois títulos exclusivos da Nintendo Switch, nomeadamente Super Mario Bros. Wonder e The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. A lista de nomeados promete gerar intensa discussão e expetativa à medida que a cerimónia se aproxima.
O grande destaque vai para Baldur’s Gate 3 e Alan Wake II, com 8 nomeações cada. De seguida surge Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 com 7 nomeações, depois Super Mario Bros. Wonder e Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom com 5 cada.
Já a Nintendo é a que obtém mais nomeações, conseguiu um total de 15, já a Sony Interactive Entertainment/PlayStation consegue 13. Em terceiro vem a Xbox/Bethesda/Activision com 10, e depois a Epic Games com 9.
Dos derrotados, obviamente que surge Starfield em destaque, o jogo da Bethesda foi a grande aposta da Xbox para 2023, obteve apenas uma nomeação, a de Melhor RPG.
